I want to feel it all today. I want to remember.
I want the grief and all it encompasses to envelop me,
to remind me of the great love that caused this pain.
Because that’s what grief is.
You don’t grieve if you don’t care.
You don’t grieve over something insignificant.
Loss means you had something important to lose.
It’s beautiful in its own dark, messed-up way.
