You left before I was ready to let go,
with no words of wisdom for me to cling to,
just an aching pain, a hollow heart
and a stone to visit when I feel alone.
I’ll leave you flowers, but they’ll wither too.
I’m empty because nothing matters.
You’ve left me with an existential crisis
because I don’t know where you are.
My beliefs aren’t as strong as yours were,
and you’re not leaving me any signs.
